Corrections and right of reply
Corrections and right of reply
Last updated 19 October 2026.
We copy the Housing Ombudsman’s published decisions carefully, but we can make mistakes. Please tell us.
Report a mistake
Email corrections@nomug.ai with the landlord, the case ID, the link to the ruling, and what looks wrong.
- We acknowledge your email within 2 working days.
- We correct the mistake, or explain why we have not, within 10 working days.
- If there is a privacy concern, we hide the excerpt within 2 working days while we check.
- We keep a dated record of every correction.
What we can’t change
The findings are the Ombudsman’s, not ours. To dispute a ruling, contact the Housing Ombudsman. If it revises or withdraws a decision, we update our data to match.
Landlords’ right of reply
A landlord named on this site may send us a statement of up to 150 words.
- We publish it on the landlord’s page within 5 working days, labelled “Statement from” the landlord, with the date.
- We don’t edit it, except to remove personal data, details of residents, or anything unlawful. If we decline to publish it, we say why.
- It stays up for 12 months or until it is replaced.
- It sits beside the figures and does not change them.
Removed rulings
The Ombudsman removes decisions from its website after at least five years, and sooner if a resident asks. When it removes a ruling, we remove its excerpt and link within 7 days of finding out, and recalculate the figures. We check for removals every time we refresh the data.
