About
About Check Your Landlord
Check Your Landlord is run by NoMug, an independent consumer-advocacy project. It gathers the decisions the Housing Ombudsman publishes, so you can see each social landlord’s record in one place.
Independence
We are not part of the Housing Ombudsman or the Regulator of Social Housing, and they do not endorse this site. To make a complaint about your landlord, use the how to complain guide or contact the Ombudsman directly.
What we publish
- The 18,334 rulings the Ombudsman has published about 580 landlords, as it publishes them, each with a link to the original.
- Counts and shares worked out from those rulings, using the Ombudsman’s own outcome terms.
- The Ombudsman’s 2025-26 landlord report figures and the Regulator of Social Housing’s 2024/25 complaint figures, where they exist.
We describe what the Ombudsman decided. We do not rate or score landlords. How we count.
